SCL TigersSupportersSCL TigersThe SCL Tigers are a traditional Swiss ice hockey club from Langnau im Emmental, founded in 1946 as Schlittschuh-Club Langnau (SCL). Today, the team competes in the National League, Switzerland’s highest professional ice hockey division. The club’s greatest achievement came in 1976, when Langnau won the Swiss Championship. The Tigers are known for their strong regional identity and close connection to the Emmental. Their team colors are red and yellow, and the tiger has been the club’s iconic symbol since the early 1970s. Home games are played at the "Emmental Versicherung Arena" in Langnau, traditionally known as the "Ilfishalle". The club is particularly famous for its passionate and loyal fan base, making home games known for their distinctive atmosphere. For us, specific off ice training for goaltenders is as important as on ice training and video analysis is the key to perfecting technique. Goaltending should come natural, there is no time to think during a game, therefore technique has to become muscle memory and second nature: this can be only achieved through specific goaltending training routines. No matter how young, how old, how experienced or unexperienced a goaltender is, they are never done learning as the game is constantly evolving. Our motto is: BE DIFFERENT FROM THE REST… Grab a spectators or a scouts attention not only by „just“ stopping the puck (theres lots of goalies that do that nowadays), but put on a show of aggressive and hard working goaltending.Visit →
SCL Young TigersSupportersSCL Young TigersI have completed my entire hockey development until U19 with the SCL Young Tigers. SCL Young Tigers AG is the research and development division of SCL Tigers AG. As a wholly owned subsidiary of the “big Tigers”, they work very closely with the parent organization. Despite this close cooperation, they are responsible for generating and managing their own budget. The main goal of the Young Tigers is to develop as many young players as possible to National League level and ultimately integrate them into the SCL Tigers’ first team. To achieve this, we are committed to challenging and supporting around 200 young players through varied, age-appropriate training sessions designed to help them reach their full potential. The SCL Young Tigers offer all interested children from around the age of four an affordable introduction to ice hockey, regardless of their talent or ability. At the SCL Young Tigers hockey school, young players learn the fundamentals of ice hockey in a fun, playful, and age-appropriate environment.Visit →
